The EIFFEL grant
Excellency grant enabling foreign students to follow Master or Doctorate training in France.
Students already studying abroad are given priority.
Eligibility criteria
Not to be of French nationality (or double nationality).
The grant application must be for Master or Doctorate training (joint thesis supervision or joint management).
To be under 30 for Masters and under 35 for Doctorates.
Not to benefit from a French governement grant at the time of the application.
Not to have already asked for an EIFFEL grant and that has been refused.
Master students wanting to go into teaching or research are ineligible.
Direct applications from students or applications presented by foreign institutes are also ineligible. The application must be presented by only one French institute.
Any file that is not complete is ineligible.
The subjects accepted for the EIFFEL grant are: Economics and Management, Law, Political Sciences, Engineering Sciences (only for Masters) and Sciences (only for Doctorates).
Amount of the grant
Master: 1181€/month (return trip and medical insurance plan are also paid for)
Doctorate: 1400€/month (return trip and medical insurance plan are also paid for)
