Activities:
Created in1970, the Grenoble Town-Planning Institute offers training and research activities in the fields of town-planning, territory planning and urban management.
Studies:
It proposes licence and master professional degrees (IUP "Territory development and planning). Beyond initial training, the Institute also organizes specific syllabuses for local-authority staff, architects or land surveyors.

Its research team, specialized in the topics of urban modifications, living habits, urban planning and development, works within the "Town-Planning and Development" Doctorate.
